Anxyous: I'm pretty darn sure you'd need to use more than just one starter switch to start the engine of an A300.. old birds are often like that, y'know ;D.

If that engine were running it would suck you right in standing that close. :-/

When we got it running I was >10 feet away to feel the suction.  Wish I had my camera then... Couldn't take it with-in 30 feet of the engine for safety and FOD rules.  It was a blast! :D

Your a tall kid, and it still looks as if you could stand inside the engine! You think thats big.... check out the GE90 as said before!

How did ya get out there anyways?
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

B1 (Cat C) licenced engineer, Boeing 737NG 600/700/800/900 Airbus A318/19/20/21 and Dash8 Q-400
1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
