Lucky you- our club's been grounded for weeks now (snow, i guess).
that motorglider looks like fun... great pics!

Great pics luke...especially the fifth one...how are you taking those from outside? Is there a dent in the canopy which lets you do them or do you open a window and hope :P

Yeah!... Just open the DV panel on the side and stick your camera out... with the strap tightly wrapped around your fist!   :)

Beautiful pictures!  One thing I would LOVE to do before I die, is go gliding!

Crampt is a good way to describe the Vigilant, lol.

I thought it got reclassified as a light aircraft or something? I think I read somewhere that is is no longer a motorglider... EGNX, is that right?



Very nice shots though. Those ones outside the cockpit are fab.

I'm not quite sure.

No one at a VGS actually holds a licence to fly any of the aircraft, similar to the RAF... well they are RAF aircraft after all. If it were reclassified I don't know if we would be allowed to fly it without holding a PPL.  :-?

The Grob 109B or Vigilant T1 is classed as a motor glider by both the CAA & the RAF.
