Tiger Moth Flight

Postby Mitch. » Sat Dec 27, 2008 12:58 am

Today, as a christmas present, I got to fly in a 1940's DH.82A Tiger Moth. This is REAL flying, constantly keeping an eye on the slip ball, rudders forever in use even for S&L. Got to do a little bit of aerobatics and then some circuits, the most fun 0.7hrs in the entire logbook. Low 'n' slow, gotta love it. ;) 8-)

Here are a few pics, I'm in the front seat and just did a touch and go on runway 10 at Camden (YSCN). Enjoy...

Sweet... what a great Xmas present.  8-)

Better be careful, or you won't want to fly anything else...  ;D

That's one gorgeous plane! Must have been an awesome ride and a privilege to cross the blue skie in such a stunning classic. Thanks for sharing these.
