Oh yeah! Look at the smoke. ;D

I was hoping to come down and see you Mic, but it proved to be a bit of a hectic day in the C household! :)

It certainly warmed the three photogs mad enough to venture out in December up :P

The rest of the day was essentially ZZ173 circuit bashing.....I counted 27 in all though it may have been more (he was already up when I got there) :P

If you look carefully. you can see there must have been a crosswind from the right (northerly, as this is runway 26).

How? ;)

The smoke was blowing right into my face despite being a good 30 metres or so south of the runway :P

looks like the ailerons elevators whatever they are called (very tired) are up on the right wing. rudder looks slightly off angle but that could just be the angle of the photo.

You can have one of Doug's coconuts for that. You can see the starbord inner and middle spoiler deflected slightly up (the outer is just out of shot above the outmost flap segment). The spoilers and ailerons are interconnected (and can be disconnected in event of control failure/jam etc to give independent roll control from either ailerons or spoiler), and hence the pilot is holding a bit of right stick on. :)
