I've already forgotten what this is, but it's a rare plans-built aircraft that I've seen here a few times. I thought at first it was a Falco, but it's all metal, not wood... incredible workmanship.

A late tow, but not the last of the day... on my last tow that day, the sun was halfway over the horizon.

Heldt PL-2. Here's a better shot of the reg that I took last month. On the same day as Sean, as a matter of fact. :)

Yeah, it's similar... but as J. points out, it ain't. In fact, it's actually a Pazmany design... Heldt is probably the name of the builder, or one of them... the owner of this nice red one told me a group of engineers built it.

Wow, I'm surprised.  I though for sure I had the right ID, but they do look very similar.
