More late-season fun at 47N

Postby beaky » Sat Nov 29, 2008 5:45 pm

Did some gliding last weekend, but forgot the SD card for the camera.  :-[

Today was pretty active, though... and a nice few hours' worth of flying. If the weather allows, I may very well solo this season... just have to stop making little mistakes.

Greg made a couple of solo hops today...

This Cozy seems to be a new resident.

Just happened to be waiting on the quad on the other side while this pretty Skylane came in...

Almost missed this Twin Comanche.

Cool. Looks like right next to the runway is really the place to be when birds are coming back to the nest.

8-)

What he said, I am always jealous of these stories when you come back from 47, I would be grinning ear to ear all day if i had a place like this to hang out
Alienware X51_R2 (thank you wife) Windows 8.1, 6GB Ram, Intel Core i3-4150 CPU @3.50GHz
FSX Acceleration settings on max, no twitches or glitches.

Some lovely late-season light! Wonderful place, that airfield. What a nice collection of models. The Cozy is a new one for me, looks very funky!

Nice snaps, Sean. I figured you guys were done for the season. That's why I haven't been over there lately.

Yup.

I think I'll be seeing more of it in the future, as the owner tied it down in the south tie-down area after arriving. Not sure if it replaced another plane or not...
