some minor help

Hey guys I'm putting together a list for my girlfriends mom. Shes looking at buying a new camera and seems fairly interested in a DSLR.

Newegg has wide selection of digital slr's and they usually have a pretty good amount of honest reviews. That is if you haven't looked there yet. :)

If you have any connections with the military the exchanges always have great prices on their cameras.

If you're looking for reviews, cameralabs.com has very detailed reviews of most cameras and lenses.  As for an inexpensive SLR, try one of the retailers at Amazon.com.  Thats where I got my canon 70-300 lens
