New Camera

Postby MrRooney » Wed Nov 26, 2008 8:47 pm

Hi all,
Today i went up to Currys near mine in Runcorn to see if they had the laptop i was going to purchase, and unfortunately they only had the Display Model (which i was glad off due to my history with currys and laptops)... While i was there i asked them if they had the Nikon D40 in stock at all... about 10 minutes later the assistant came out with the camera, Originally i was looking to pay

You shouldn't be posting pictures of my christmas present(s) on here John. Descriptions & prices yes, but not pictures.

Looks excellent BTW, I look forward to receiving them.  :D

Very nice. Make sure you register for that free 2-year guarantee. Looks like Currys is in trouble. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7751786.stm

Good purchase mate :)

As for Curry's, not surprising, with Woolies and MFI both about to seemingly dissapear. It stands that one of the big 3 owned by the same company (comet, currys, PC world) would have to go.
