The Tree Is Up....

Looks very nice. But a month before Christmas?

I think we are putting ours up in about 2 or 3 weeks. It is whenever my sister is home from uni next. It will be the first photo on my new camera.

Most people do it the week after thanksgiving but I guess when your kids beg you to put it up you have no choice

Thanks everybody!
I was always a firm believer in waiting at least until a few weeks before Christmas.
My in laws come from Cape Cod for Thanksgiving and it is really the only time they get to see our house around the holidays. My wife "requested" this a few years ago and my daughters get so excited when she mentions it, that we just do it. Before you know it, December is here and we get to enjoy it for a good month.

We usually put ours up just after Thanksgiving and take it down New Year's Day. When I was younger I used to love putting the tree up and I would always jump in and help my parents... Now, not so much  ;D
