Remington 700 Police

Postby ThatOnePerson » Wed Nov 19, 2008 12:06 am

I know, ANOTHER gun post ::)

Sorry, but I figured id show off my newest acquisition, Scope will come in a couple months when I actually have some more disposable income. I do however have my harris bipod and leupold scope mount on the way.

Top one, if you didn't know :) It's a very close cousin of the Army's M24 and Marines M40.

Also a shot with these cool clear Lancer mags I recieved, more true to the classic Sig mag.

Are you under siege or something? Anything we can help with?

Ahhh.. I couldn't make out a model #..   and it "looks" like ,  "9mm Auto" on the frame above the trigger guard,,  I   THOUGHT those magazines looked pretty stout for 9mm.

It's a good compromise,  but I still favor a weapon that can be carried safely in condition-1.  The first shot is usually the most important.

That's true, however the way I though of it was, .45 is fairly useless past 15-20 yards, not power wise, but bullet drop.  I just kinda decided that some extra trigger pull wouldn't matter since anything that would happen, would be fairly close range.

Either way its a fun little thing to shoot ;)

R700... I love that rifle. My favorite variant is probably the Varmint.

Very nice.

OOHRAH!!!  Very nice collection you have going there!  Love the R700, a very deadly weapon in the USMC sniper arsenal... and the .45 is definately a handgun worth owning, it will leave quite the hole in a victim!

I have to agree with Brett Henderson, the 9mm DA is nearly useless in my opinion, at least in a military manner lol
