Possible last run......

Postby Rifleman » Wed Nov 05, 2008 12:04 am

Last run up Mt Washington, that is.......since we've had some snow of late and the salt/sand has started to be utilized on the road to the top, I decided that I would take one last run to the top and do it with my camera.........here's a few select shots.........
The recent week of rain had chased away the snow, but not the debris on the roadway.

The view back to the southeast shows the clouds which have formed due to the mountain range I'm on.......

Looking northwest, you can see the clear skies but also in the image is a hint of the start of more cloud.......

The hwy conditions are pretty apparent here, ensuring a slow trip up and down the mountain.......

After taking that last shot, I turned back to my bike and found this little friendly Whiskey Jack sitting upon the rear mounted bag on my bike and waiting for a hand out

Great pics! The second one looks like it's an ad for the 'new' Hornet. Love it! :D

Gorgeous area! It must be great when covered with a nice layer of snow, but I don't think you'll be biking then...  ;)

I wonder if the bird was hoping there'd be the off chance you were providing dinner.

Cracking shot, amongst a fine selection.

I had that thought in my head Sean, at the ready for a quick shake of the hand to launch him off to 4,800' ASL, but then that was only waist high ........... ;)

Thanks all, for the kind comments......I do my best to bring you along on some fun journeys, because I can........I just love todays technology and the ability it provides us with, to enjoy much more than most of us ever would. I consider it re-payment for the pleasures any and all of you, have brought forth ..........Thank You.
