i just got my lerners (well a few months ago) and its amazing here that how many crashes with learner drivers theres been

i always wear my seatbelt even if im just going down the street

my dad ha a really bad NASCAR crash and he was about to get out before it happend but he was lucky enough to still have his harness still on or he may of died

Sometimes it's better to simply to run over whatever is in the road then try to swerve and miss it

My cousins exchange student got in an accident last night where it was raining, construction, dark, messing with the radio, swerved, rolled two times and caught on fire. Luckily she is unhurt but hopefully that will be a wake up call for her to be more attentive to her driving. :-/

The officer did tell me that when something is in the road its always better to just run it over, no matter what it is.

But although it looks like he rolled it he didn't, the car went under the steel cables you see in front of the car, which caused the front part of the windshield to cave in.

Amazingly lucky, I just hope he learns from this.

Keep in mind guys, seatbelt is not always the answer.

I personally know of an accident where had the person not been wearing a seatbelt, he would've survived, and his buddy that wasn't wearing a seatbelt was saved. THe one guy with the seatbelt was stuck in the car, which was crushed, and the guy who wasnt wearing one got throw out, and survived because he wasnt in the car when it got smashed.

Of course, statistically it is safer to wear one, or else all the experts wouldnt recommend them, and there wouldnt be laws, etc. But really, when it comes down to each individual accident, it's luck of the draw.

Something else to keep in mind, each persons knowledge of their car and how it performs under various conditions vary widely. Some people could safely execute an avoidance maneuver with safety, while others will lose control. So there isnt a formula everyone should follow, except to do what is safest given all the variables in play. IE i have safely gone around a couch that fell off a truck some 20 meters in front of me, i knew the car well, and didnt turn past its limit, also had the knowledge of not braking while turning.
