Upon a request from "Meck" Here are some shots of the 85 Monte Carlo SS that i have been restoring. It has a 305 H.O V-8 with Corvette LT-1 heads, 750 CFM rochester Quadrajet (Quadrajunk) carb, Turbo 350 trans with a shiftgo shift kit, modified valve body, enlarge passages, 2000 rpm stall converter, 3.73 posi rearend. She will pass almost anything on the road except a gas station....She drinks the gas at 8 miles per gallon. going into second gear she will break the tires loose and going into 3rd she will throw you into the seat if the pictures seem to lack quality it is because they were taken with my old cheapo digital.

i know lack of chrome...but chrome wont get you home

 My youngest brother had one of those, an '84 model. It met it's end when one of his friends missed a turn aproaching a bridge, took flight from lack of terra firma, and hit a tree. We stuffed the engine into a '79 Pontaic Sunbird (Chevy Vega knock-off) and had lots more fun.
