Another great flyer at Wings and Wheels and one I haven't shared yet :P  A very very graceful plane!

A rare sight also!

Was this at Dunsfold? Now why didn't I see that?

Lovely photos. :)

It's only a replica :)

Nice shots soui......would have seen the display this year were it not for crosswinds at Farnborough forcing her to veer off the runway :P

It'd be nice if it came back to Old Warden sometime (edit - seems I missed it in 2005!). I still remember its last visit, and on driving to the airfield from the A1, wondering what the montrosity was that was sitting on the airfield! That was in its dark green G-EAOU (God 'elp all of us) days. Must have been around 1996.

Love to have a go in it one day! :)

I'll have a word with Melvin Hiscock next time I see him. Not sure I can arrange a flight in it though. I believe they've had a spot of bother with the CAA of late but as it's been at a couple of displays it all seems to be sorted now.

I believe it lives at Dunsfold as it's no longer allowed to fly from Brooklands. If they tear the runway up as threatened it will need another new home.

PS. There's a rumour going round that it's now based somewhere in Oxfordshire.

Having flown over Brooklands yesterday, I can confirm nothing will ever fly there again. The runway's disappeared under Mercedes' development.

So I hear. That seems a terrible shame.
