Lobsterfest!!

The other weekend my friend Holly returned from Maine, where she'd been working on a lobster boat for the first time, and brought along a big box of live soft-shell Maine "bugs". They've recently molted, so you can easily tear all the armor apart with your hands once they're cooked. Not very big, but tasty.

The first batch... dig in!!

That corn was probably grown right down the road from me. I think it's one the last corn fields in the state that are used for consumption.

MMMMMM I love lobster, well  I love seafood in general, but lobster tops the list, just under Snow Crab.  Never had fresh lobster like that, must have been heavenly!

Awwhhh what? Poor lobsters. They are one of the greatest creatures around and you go and kill and eat them.
