Warbird frenzy at EBUL

Postby Omag 2.0 » Sun Aug 10, 2008 2:38 pm

Waited over 3 hours today, for the static display of Wings&Wheels Ursel to take off from the event, but it was well worth it!

Unfortunatly the sun was straith in line with the runway at the time of the departures, but those engines sound like soothing music in the ears...

AD4 Skyraider... just a massive plane!

Not sure weather this Japanese A6M Zero was comfortable up there with all the allied forces, but as she's French-based now, I'm sure she'll survive...

See! I knew there was something "strange" about it... only now I see the typical Harvard-tail... oh well anyway... looks different from another Harvard...

We can't really have Mustangs shooting down spitfires and P-47's now can we?

Great shots Kris, The Sandy is one of my favorite planes, I told Matt2190 to get a shot of one at Oshkosh, but he said there wasn't even one there. Now I know where it was at.

Great shots!  That "zero" is a modified NA Texan, might have been in the movie tora, tora, tora.  Looks so close to the real thing, but the wing, landing gear, and exhaust easily give it away!
