Headed to Fairford to see a certain black thing, but were left disappointed......After waiting patiently in the rain, hearing engines being run up at 2 o clock we were all excited.....only to hear on the scanner something along the lines of 'give us two hours we've got a plan', and the mission was scrubbed. Still, we managed to get round and catch nebraska being wheeled back into the hangar.....and left for Brize. Having spent an hour at Brize with only the ILS clibration king air making any sort of movement, we headed back to Fairford. The hangar door was still shut and we assumed that there was to be no flying......fortunately we did catch Arizona in a hangar on the other side of the field, with a lot of people around her. Now, I return to find that Nebraska did get up after all......about 45 minutes after we left   >:( >:( ;D ;D

Oh well, there's always a next time

anyway....the pics.....;)

You were unlucky at Brize too. Later there was Tristar arrival and a 10 in the circuit.

And a C17 I believe......saw them all over the inflatable B2 hangar ;)

Anyhows, if we'd stayed any longer we wouldn't have caught Arizona in bed as the door was shut a minute after I took the pics....

Lovely shots, pity they couldn't oblige with some more interesting views for you.
