What's the flatbed for? Does that FD also haul wrecks? Over here that's generally the job of a towing contractor.

Yes they do.
Falck is a private rescue company, taking care of both Ambulance service, Fire & Rescue, and Road assistance.

In most of the countries where Falck offers Assistance services, Falck

Now you force me to bring my camera to our station and take pictures of some American fire trucks.   ;)
