Smokey Skies and the Golden Gate

Postby BigTruck » Sat Aug 02, 2008 3:36 pm

As most of you know, California is on fire and has been since I got here.  The resulting sunsets from the smokey skies are incredible.

Also, I cross the Golden Gate on my way home everyday and if the weather is nice I usually stop and try to get creative with my camera,  here's a few of my preferred shots so far (out of over a thousand pictures taken)

Well, it isn't Hawaii, I sure do miss it there, but this is home now, and it isn't too bad at all  8-)

Really nice shots of the bridge. They would make good postcards. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Don't ever start to take for granted, what you have in your own neighbourhood........out here on Vancouver Island, I'll probably never see anything like the SkyDome and CN Tower, but when I lived in the area, things like that were always cool...........

You've given us a fine view of what you see in person.....Thanks !
