A nice musueam here in colorado, it lacks war birds but has a unique collection of jets from the 70s and 80s (interceptors vetenam jets etc) heres a few i took, shoulda shown the F-111 or a couple of the intereceptors but I loved their older aircraft

I live 10 minutes from the lowry campus and have been there numerous times but have never been into the museum. I guess its time to remedy the situation and go see it.

forgot the exact name it was built by Ball Aircraft in Colorado It was a experimental to study the effects of pull lift and drag

I was going to ask the same question. Thanks to your clue I found it. The Ball-Bartoe Jetwing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball-Bartoe_Jetwing

I see they also have a Douglas B-18A Bolo. http://www.wingsmuseum.org/aircraft_detail.php?id=1

I shoulda taken more pictures but that was a cool looking bomber, they had 3 aircraft like 8-10 feet long and like 3 feet tall (one was a experimental bi-plane made in the 70s called der kricket) but it was fun it was fialry empty (except for some mom and 3 lil kids who seemed to have to move the ailerons rudder elevators and prop of every plane they got their hands on (there mom will control them when they bust off a aileron  >:()

I visited that museum a year ago.  It's not bad. Your pics turned out better than mine though.
