Surprise visitor.....

Postby Rifleman » Mon Jun 30, 2008 12:22 am

After a long ride today, I decided to cool down with a last run around the local airfield to see if there was any benefit to being close to the water again........upon passing the new terminal I spied with my little eye, a visitor who is definately not a regular around these parts. Especially since the Canadian Armed Forces don't have many of these in the first place.

Shot through the space between the fence and gate - only a matter of 3 inches or so at the hinge line.......best I could do with such a low sun angle...........

Blimey.... :o...!

Its one of my little high-wing Cessna 150's stuffing itself with fatty Beefburgers again... >:(...!

...and its fat belly is obscuring its "important bits" at the front end... :-[...!

LOL.... ;D...!

Fantastic shot, Ken... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!

I didn't think your local runway was equipped to handle such a monster?... ::)...!

P.S. ..everything looks like variations of Cessna 150's to me...;)... ;D...!!

In those monster aeroplanes, I'm always curious as to how the Pilot, sat in his seat, can possible see what is around him, and where hes is going, whilst taxiing on the ground!... :o...!

I would need a movable Video Camera in the nose!... ::)...!

Paul.... ;D...!
