Guess what the weather was like yesterday...

Storms, storms, and more storms.  I seems like it never ends.  First, we almost doubled the snowfall record this winter, now a higher than average number of severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding.

The first storms starting to grow yesterday...

Another storm to the south...



Another one coming...



A break...



The last one, looking wicked with heavy rain and strong wind...



Finally, a half-hour after the last one, there wasn't a cloud in the sky...

You guys are overdue for a break... I hope things settle down to the usual "hot and sticky with a brief boomer every afternoon" in time for Airventure!!  :-/

#5 is a beautiful shot- reminds me of a Renaissance ceiling fresco, minus the chubby cherubs.  Looks like a classic "sucker hole", too- waiting for an unsuspecting VFR pilot, stuck on top, to try to get down thru it.
