8 pics from the Rockford Airfest 2008..once again dont mind the distortion/noise...it super hard to compress 4 mb pictures under 100kb.

Terrific shots, I liked them all, well done!

I have to ask, that P51 shot with the light flare (i think thats the term), did the camera capture that or did you touch it up with photoshop?  Just asking because I have been trying to get my camera to capture lights like that and so far I can only get sunlight reflecting off chrome to do it, but I would love to get aircraft lights to do it, without using photoshop...

I believe you are allowed 150kb now :P

Looks like he got it at that tiny fraction of a second when it was perfect... a lucky break.

Love that 2nd shot, Id like that for my desktop background... got a hi-res I can use?
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

Nah, when you get lucky and the sun is at your back, you can get quite a few of those shots, i really dont like them much cause i think it takes away from the airplane.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

You can achieve the light flare by using a small aperture.

Awesome shots  ;D  I hope I get some as good as these someday!
