Popham Van's fly-in June 08 Pt 2

Although these are themed events they're not restricted to a specific type. You never know what will turn up. Here's a selection of other homebuilts.

Pietenpol Air Camper - the original homebuilt. This one is brand new & dropped in for fuel en route to a Pietenpol fly-in. It had only done 7 hours total.

The Kitfox. Another popular homebuilt.  This one has a dummy radial engine

and this one has the real thing. A 7-cylinder Rotec R2800. Beautiful but apparently a little on the heavy side.

The tiny Taylor Monoplane. One of the first British homebuilts.

The Christavia MK1 Canadian-designed homebuilt. This is the only one on the UK register.

Two versions of the Stoddard Hamilton Glastar.

Finally for now, a homebuilt helicopter. The Rotorway 162F Exec. http://www.rotorway.com/index.php

Another lovely parade...  8-)

I must say the Rotorway shows clearly one thing eggbeaters are really good for: you can load your luggage between the skids. ;D
