The Police

Postby expat » Mon Jun 09, 2008 3:49 am

Finally got to see The Police last night after the concert was canceled last October due to Sting having laryngitis. A 50,000 sell out, very good and well worth the wait and a great night out.
All pictures where taken with Fuji FinePix 5700 100th F3.5 800ASA no flash, no tripod, all hand held. You can see how far away I was, this camera did quite a good job under the circumstances.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Not bad at all., not that any flash would have helped at that distance, 'cept maybe a night-aerial-surveillance flash... ;D

Amazing how they still pack 'em in- I saw them at the Carrier Dome in
Syracuse over 20 years ago (Ghosts in the Machine tour).

Proper concertphotographers don't use a flash... unless it's absolutley necessary...

My collegue went to see them at Werchter Classic this weekend, it was a good performance of these "oldies".

Well done, given the circumstances, distance and angle on the stage.  ;)
