GAAM Barnstormer Day '08- part 8: Cessnas

A very good cross-section of classic Cessnas, most of them guests.

Wow- two 170s!! Love these things...

And of course, the museum's own 140... :)

A very nice custom panel in this one- not seen is the VOR in the lower left.

Some more classic Cessna steam-gauges, this  time in an old straight-tail 172.

Next- part 9: more Cessnas!

Thanks. But I think I need a new camera... this one is in bad shape. The wide-angle is kinda fun, but I may get a much smaller camera- I'm tired of fumbling with this thing and the lenses and filters.
Right now I'm thinking of this one- gets good reviews, and I love the optical viewfinder!

It's just not my time to go all-out and get a DSLR and a huge lens...

I'm surprised, the amount of shots you take and Post, I would think a nice DSLR would be at the top of your (to buy) list.  Mark

Ultimately I would like to have one, but I need something a little more handy.

All too often I have this clunky camera that isn't as good as a lot of little digis now available... and it's falling apart...and if I also have the camcorder, it gets pretty crazy... I like to do stuff and take pictures, not just take pictures. ;D

Then there's the expense: I think I'll wait until I can afford a really good DSLR, not a "budget" one.

So, my plan is: new smaller, more portable digi, then a decent slide&negative scanner, for about $100,  so I can go back to shooting with my beloved old Canon film SLR when I want to take real fancy pictures.

My wife just bought a nifty little nikon supershots (or coolshots or something) ...anyways its about 200 bucks and has 10 megapixels and fits in your pocket and takes great shots, she didn't want to be lugging my dslr around either haha, just a suggestion  ;)
Alienware X51_R2 (thank you wife) Windows 8.1, 6GB Ram, Intel Core i3-4150 CPU @3.50GHz
FSX Acceleration settings on max, no twitches or glitches.
Saitek X52 Stick and Throttle
