Great shots. The Herc and the Hawk nose, great detail. Nice that you get the odd wave from a jockey or two.

well done. We appear to have all gotten the exact same shots.
And It's a lie. Craig wears neither a hat or a smile. ;) ;D

Not surprising really considering you were all in the same spot. :P

Thanks Doug....

Craig was indeed smiling there....it had been very quiet since we arrived, and I had just suggested that we push Mic down the hill and get shots of the rescue chopper  :P ;D ;D

( ;) Only kidding Mic  ;) )

At the same time....the rescue shopper thing isn't that bad an idea  :o

I like the second shot (full res crop of the last shot)..........shows the value of having the ability to crop from the original image and still show very good detail.........crisp images.........good work guys !

Nice pics from all of you!

One question though...in the second to last pic of the hawk, there's some sort of solid divider between the front cockpit and rear cockpit...is it for IFR training?

theres a glass panel that seperates the two sections of the cockpit, i think that photo is just where the light has caught the glass panel

It's at the high point of the road between Cross Foxes and Tal-y-llyn, heading from Bala to Machynlleth. Park up in the large car park and walk up  ;)

Aye, effectively just a blast screen should a bird decide to perforate the front canopy. :)
