My lucky day

Postby Hagar » Sun May 11, 2008 2:22 am

I finally got the trip in the RV8 I've been promised. Fantastic! 8-)

A view of Shoreham Airport you don't often see.

Heading east over Shoreham Harbour

Palace Pier Brighton. Look at all those bodies on the beach. I'd rather be up here.

Further east just past Eastbourne.
Image

On the way back. An unusual view of Beachy Head.
Image

Tragedy strikes on the cliffs. I found out later someone had either tripped or jumped. It was too nice a day to die. :'(

Another view of the cliffs.

Back home. Looking south towards the English Channel over our own miniature version of Spaghetti Junction.

On finals over the fence where I usually hang out.

Smashing. Must rush.  I'm off to Popham now. ;)

Thanks for the comments. I really enjoyed that flight. All the better as I wasn't expecting it. 8-)

Thanks J. Of course, if you would like it although I'm not happy with the quality. My new pocket digicam doesn't have a viewfinder & I'm used to open cockpits. ;)

I think I have been on the carnival pier in shot #4. If I remember correctly, there is someone who sells belgian waffles there. :) I don,t know why I remembered that...
