Nice shots, always nice to see an office shot.
I always find the Russian cockpit colour really offensive to the eyes, however, regardless of how old it is the cockpit always looks clean and new(ish)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

That blue seems pretty standard in Russian cockpits :o

Thanks, I totally agree with the comments regarding the MIG cockpit. Bright, ugly and unmistakable :P

Ah, the always "outlandish" Russian cockpits! (When compared to everything else!) All the shots look great!

From what I have read, apparently the Russians thought that blue and/or green cockpits were actually easier on the eyes than other colors, and would prevent air-sickness to a limited extent. How much of this is completely verifiable I don't know, but I think they look nice anyway!

I always sorta liked that Russian blue... I think it also makes it a little easier to find what you're looking for, being a little brighter.

Thanks for the museum tour, Mitch!
