Living just down the road from Kidlington I hear GA noises all day so while I was out enjoying the sunshine yesterday and I heard a 'normal sounding' prop approaching I didn't even bother looking up. Imagine my horror when my fiancee shouts 'look at that!' and I turn round to see the elliptical wing! Time spent changing the lens allowed it to pass overhead before I was ready to zoom in and shoot. I went home cursing under my breath but today, now that I have trasferred the file, I can see that it's not a Spit, but a Twister, G-TWST to be precise. I have learnt my lesson and will always look up when I hear something sounding mechanical.
