Photoshop discrepancy

Postby FsNovice » Sat Apr 19, 2008 6:00 am

I have been lookin in recent days to purchase Corel's  photshop pro x2 since buying my new camera and wanting a decent editing suite to touch up photos when required etc. However, when i use the trial software to select my region from which to display the price, i select UK which is correct and the price comes back as

I think you mean Paint Shop Pro. As a faithful user of PSP for many years I have recently been converted to Photoshop Elements. Prices vary but you should find it at a reasonable price from a quick google. I think you will find it does all you need. You can download a trial version of the latest Elements 6.0 here. http://www.adobe.com/downloads/

The free trial Elements 4.0 & 5.0 are still available if you have a look round.

Ah, cheers hagar, another route to pursue. The price isnt too much of an issue, its just the massive discrempancy between prices. They seem to have done an X box on this one!!!

I think you'll find we get ripped off over software just like everything else in this country. >:(

For US dollars read pounds Sterling.

I also relie on Photoshop elements. Great program for a very reasonable price.

I'd look around on the net where to buy this software. It can't go wrong with this type of product, so perhaps you can find it cheaper at an online-store. Just look around.

Sounds very nasty, just changing the Dollar sign into a Pound one. These day's that's just not fair!
