SimV has fun in the hills!

Postby Mictheslik » Wed Apr 16, 2008 5:37 pm

Just got back from a great day with Steve (61_OTU) and craig (craig  :P) up on Cad West. I'll post some more pictures of planes when I'm not effectively sleeping, but for now heres a few shots of the little get together.....

Climbing up......not fun, especially after that remark about those two hawks being the only traffic of the day and I hadn't got the camera out  >:( ;D ;D ;)

Let's take photographs!

Here's the flock representing the rest of the forum ;)

Maybe if you'd been paying a bit more attention you would have taken a decent picture of the Tonka  :P :P ;D
Image

Oh, and these RAF chaps seemed like they wanted to play aswell, coming through three times nice and low, with everyone trying to reach a window for a wave....

more aircraft pics to come from all three of us ;)

cool shots.
i must say, the RAF seem more friendly, especially to spotters, than the USAF.
i was at mildenhall the other day and there were people driving around the perimeter road sticking their middle finger up at us. one even remarked "why don't you take a picture of that" whilst sticking his middle finger up.

Great shots Mic (I'm sorry, I've tried to call you Mike but it just doesn't sound right, you're Mic again from now on  ;)  :P )

At least in the shots of me my superhero disguise is in place, and my secret identity is still safe  ;) ;D ;D

You're right though.....I didn't get a decent photo of the Tonka......I was too busy trying to pull that hat down on Craig's head  :-X ;D

Good day Mic, Cheers
