Back in Orlando, Florida (:-*) at Kermit's Air Museum...HE HAS HIS OWN SPITFIRE!! Sorry about the lighting.

Mr Weeks certainly has his own Spitfire but that is a Mustang. :P

I'm not a photographer so they are not anywhere near great shots.

He has a very nice Spit. Anyone who has ever built a 1/72 Heller or Matchbox plastic Mk XVI Spitfire will be familiar with its markings too.

Oddly for a rescued gate-guardian it wasn't acquired and restored by Historic Flying Ltd like many others, rather going through the Booker workshops of PPS as seems to be preferred by Mr Weeks. :)

He owns one of, if not the world's largest private collection of airworthy historic aircraft... the Spit and the Stang are just two. Must be tough deciding which one to fly next... ;D


I think those are fine pictures... there's just enough light in those hangars for some dramatic pics if you can get the right angle without a bunch of gawkers cluttering it up. ;)
