Just a church

Postby expat » Thu Feb 14, 2008 11:25 pm

For the last 4 years on the way to work I have driven past this church and thought, I have to try a photograph it sometime. Finally, sometime arrived. Unfortunately, compression has killed the detail in the stone.

Unusual shots of an interesting subject. Looks nice all lit up. Do you know the name of this church or how old it is? I would like to see it in daylight if you get the chance.

Just take a peek at that lovely Saxon Arch over the door... :-*...!

Typical of many Medieval Churches I come across in England (Britain)..!

Truly fantastic..!!

Years ago, I spent many, many hours visiting most of the Churches in my County, and surrounding Counties, to explore them, and obtain details of their history... :)...!

...but I've now reached the age when I try to avoid them, if at all possible...

..all those bleedin' Graveyards are getting much too close for comfort!... :o... :o... :o......!
