EWR - 1/27/08

Postby flyboy 28 » Sun Jan 27, 2008 5:35 pm

I was in the area, so I thought I'd swing by EWR to try and get some pics before I got chased out. I stuck around for about a half hour with no encounters from the mall police, to my delight. The 4's were in use, so that meant back-lit shots. Ah well, it turned out alright.

Hmmm... looks like you were in what I think of as "the other place"... the big parking lot by the Ikea and Toys 'r' Us ...?

It does seem like a good place to get hassled, but I've never been bothered the couple of times I brought my camera over there.

The very same. It was fine this time, since there were oodles of people at the mall. I parked between two big SUV's facing 95 and got in and out of my car between arrivals. "Covert spotting" so to speak. :P

Wonderfull James. Love the TAP bird. I like how they all cary a name.

To bad that you have to do that kind of covert up spotting... that can't be good for the hobby and draws even more suspicion from people who can't understand it...
