A cheap way to reduce camera-shake

Postby Omag 2.0 » Sat Jan 19, 2008 10:26 am

You don't have IS or VR on your lenses and don't want to use a tripod?
You want to spend about... 1 $?

Check this out... it makes sense in a way...

Nice idea Kris. I guess by using two of them, you could place one under each foot and have a bi-pod due, to the tri-angulation of the setup, which would drastically reduce horizontal as well as vertical movement......... 8-)

EDIT: I will be making one........ 8-)

A nice idea, and may reduce camera shake in fairly high shutter speed shots, but it's certainly no replacement for a tripod. You won't be able to take any long exposure shots with this, which is essentially what a tripod is for. It may provide a cheap, albeit less effective replacement for a monopod, but then, you get what you pay for!

Atleast it is better then nothing, and carrying a big tripod with you can be a disadvange from time too time.
