Good shots from a nice vantage point...........wish I was there to see the place in person.

Quick hint here for shooting back at the earth from up high on a bright sunny day.........
Exposure compensation should be set to -1 for a start and go from there. Too much light reflects back up at you and causes over-exposed shots.
There is still some information in these shots which can be dug out though, using a bit of quick manipulation.........e.g. this was only a couple of mins and not what I might call a final fix......

Sadly it was Mrs C's new camera, and as I said there wasn't much time for anything other than literally "pointing and shooting". Thanks for the advice though, and I'll see if there's any way I can get it sorted pre-flight next time. :)

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Other than the corner of #2, no, as after sitting staring at the instruments for several hours, any notion of taking a photo of them seems mad...
