I've tried my hand(poorly at that!) at cropping stuff out of photos in PS, and that certainly looks like a challenge, due to the detail around where the plane is in the shot. Good luck mic !!! ;D ;D ;D

Tweek trust me, at KDAY it's quite hard to not have big wooden poles in your way.
Great shots Wright. Love to try and meet up with you at the next airshow there.  :)

The answer is no.....on the pic I edited, most of the rope covered items which were quite generic...so i could use equivalent objects to replace the rope...I only had to draw one or two things...

On this the pole covers the most specific fart of the aircraft....the wing....meaning I'd have to redraw the L29 wing, which I cant be bothered doing ;)

Not bragging or anyhting, i had media credentials for this show and got to get up close to everything.  Heres two of the planes the thewrightstuff has pictures of:  That L-29 was giving rides all weekend and yes it was incredibly hazy friday and saturday.

Oh and wright stuff, you know you can walk right up to the fence where the aircraft land on the non show runway?  People sit there with coolers all the time, we went out their for a little bit during some down time on friday which is where i got the L-29 and T-34 shot from. Landed right over our heads.

Were the rides for the general public or just the media? I was watching from the parking lot near the airshow entrance.

Is this the area you were talking about phantom? The area in red is where i was watching from. It's just outside the airshow entrance where the buses park on saturday and sunday. There were a lot of other people there other besides my group. the airshow entrance arch is in yellow and the parking lot is in black. The runway has the blue x.  The planes look small because i was using a point and shoot camera (I used it to get the tattoo pictures too http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 073263/2#2 ) My dad had a better camera but had just bought it and was trying to figure out how to use it when the l-29 flew by. It arrived just as we pulled into the parking lot.
