Trains/Procrastination

Postby flyboy 28 » Wed Jan 02, 2008 11:23 pm

So I have a six-page history paper due in... eight hours. And what does that mean? Time to post some pictures! ;D These were from a while ago, soon after I got my SLR. A model train club had an "expo" so to speak, so my dad, brother and I headed over to see what was going on. Pretty in-depth, though a bit of a strange hobby in my opinion. Then again, taking pictures of airplanes seems like an odd hobby to most. :)

Oh yeah.. sorry.. forgot to mention the scale   :-[

Im doing HO scale and will use Peco code 83 track..

I've got a 30X15 foot room set aside and am going to do it all on a shelf-type layout around the room..

I'll post my track plan in the Pilot's  Lounge..

Great train set-ups!!  Model train people are a whole different breed but, like you said so are we!!

My Daughter asked for Lionels Hogwarts Express train set we saw in the store.  So, now it's set up around our Christmas tree and I'm playing with it more then her!!

Heh, hows the model? I thought about getting it, but I normally dont get the full train sets, I just blow my money on a more expensive engine :P. Any pics?
