They could buy a share in a half decent aeroplane for that, although admittedly the electricity for the batteries of a camera is cheaper than AVGAS... :)

Is that absolutely necessary?!?  :o I'll have to look out for him in 08! Shoreham is only small, I can't believe I missed that!  ;D Mind you, I was right at the end of the runway...

Canon 5D, Canon 600mm f/4.0L IS USM AF, 1.4TC, and  a Lens Hood.
(I used my 400D on it from time to time as well..)
