Hope you enjoyed the photos as much as I do... ;D 8-) ;)

Really awsome set of shots there Andrew! You did an excellent job of showing the size of the H4, with that Dak underneath it's wing you can really see what a huge plane the H4 was.

Thanks for posting them.

Cheers,

TSC.

PS: Your a lucky g!t, sitting in the left seat of the H4, I'm a bit green this morning.  [smiley=shocked.gif]

Great shots!  Hands down, my favorites are parts 6 & 7.  That's so cool they let you sit in the cockpit of that massive airplane.  Every museum I've been to is really picky about what airplane they let you sit in, and some won't let you sit in any at all.  Great series.

Great shots Andrew. Nice to see you can get inside her (no pun intended). Must have added to just how big she is.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

What a fine time you must have had.......I commend you on your work with the camera, as I know many of those shots are way harder to capture, than to look at.........good job ....... 8-)

I discovered how difficult it can be to photograph aircraft in a crowded museum, with less than optimal lighting. The Evergreen Museum was ok, though the whole side of the museum is a big window that lets in a lot of light, which can have issues at times, like my photos of the flightdeck.

That new section at the Seattle Musem was the worst...

Well done, and thanks for the peek at the Hercules... I really want to get up there some day for a look myself.

Great job Andrew...wonderful...I would have thought they would have been glad to give a Veteran a free tour...the cheap sods.   ;)

So...was there any resemblance between the Ford Tr-Motor controls and the Spruce Goose?

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
