Texas Air Fiesta! Part 3

Postby Aerophile » Sun Nov 11, 2007 12:22 am

Here's a couple of shots of a P-39 and a DC-3.  The CAF guy was standing next to the A-26 that I previously posted.  You'll notice the DC-3 has a completely authentic cockpit including one of those Garmin 430's they used back in WWII.  ;D

That is one fine funky DC-3... very nice. Love the P39, also.

God bless that guy for not giving in to the whole "PC" thing regarding the CAF... even this Yankee would prefer they change the name back... ::)

Goodmorning all... :)

Well I see the Confederate Air Force is alive and still kicking...wonderful group of aviators.

That cockpit certainly brings back memories.... :)   ;)

Thanks for the wonderful shots.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Great shots through out, but Part 3 does it for me.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
