Great actionshots! I still think those pilots are bonkers, but what a skill!  :)

In the qualifications i don't think there was one pilot that didnt hit a pylon ;D Some of them hit it really bad :)

Nice shots. The only part of the air show we got to see on the TV was some of the red bull planes having a celebration after there run and the PC-9 Roullettes flying past ;)

Thanks for the comments fellas. I didnt realise he had actually hit the pylon because i was so focused on the plane. I heard the crowd gasp, and then when he had finished his circuit and i had stopped snapping away then yeah i went through my pics and found that shot. He only just clipped it with his rudder. He was the first qualifier of the day, and the wind was pushing him around something cruel. after his heat, the wind died down would you believe?

Yeah when i was watching his run it didn't even look like he hit it on the Slo-Mo replay :o It was as if the wind had ripped it ;D
The wind didn't die down that much though they kept on drifting out sideways in the Quatro and some people at some stalls during the Half-cuban :( A bad day for Red-bull racing it was

there was another one while i was there, but unfortunately i was buying a t shirt for my dad at the time so missed it. The helicopter clipped the exit pylon with his rotor as he exited the course. IT was  funny because the commentators didnt seem to realise he had done it, and were talking about a great pilot he was and singing his praises while all the time the gate was deflating and falling over. The crowd was laughing their heads off
