Postby BAW0343 » Sun Sep 30, 2007 3:55 pm

Was driving home one say and had a few few minutes to waste.  So I decided to stop by Davis-monthan and take some photos through the fence.

And A-6's, F-14, f-15's, F-4's, F-18's, even a YC-14.  I could go on, cause on the other side they have the B-52's, (its painful to see them all broken up like they are) C-141's, a C-5 or two.  And thats only from memory!  Oh and A-4's a few F-15's.  ok sorry I'll stop..

The Americans probably have more aircraft there than the RAF have in the whole force!

That's an understatement if ever I saw one. http://www.swaviator.com/html/issued00j01/boneyard.html

There are some very good books about this place. I have "Desert Boneyard" by Philip Chinnery (He has written several on the subject). It is full of the pictures I wish I had been able to take :(

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
