Got my new camera

Postby BAW0343 » Wed Sep 26, 2007 5:02 am

;D ;D  Finally got my Canon Rebel XTi (400D) and so far I'm loving it  :D  Mainly I love the Depth of field the canon has compared to my old Kodak Z740, I can control it better and see major differences. Then comes the 10.1 MP and the ability to shoot in RAW.  I'm happy.  8-)  Just thought I would share some photos (no aviation for awhile until I get a ~100-300mm lens) So here it goes:

ummm, any ideas? I'm not really sure what it is.

I think you'll find the depth of field is the same on all cameras, it's just down to whatever lens you're using. ;)

When your using a point and shoot camera you'll find you cant change the lens,  that old one wasn't that good.  :P    ;D

It's a nice one aint it ;)

But remember...the lens is the most important part....no point in a fancy camera if you dont get a good lens, and I'd advise to replace the kit lens if you can as it goes immensly soft....you can pick up a canon 50mm prime for

Umm.. ok,     I don't blame you!

Sorry, I don't know every camera so I wasn't aware of the nature of that.

Np,  I hardly think I know 1% of the cameras out there.

Mic:
I already hate the Kit lens  ;)   Unfortunately have very little money so a new lens is a ways off,  and I'm going to get the Telephoto before I replace my 18-55mm.
