The Mighty Midway- part 1

Postby beaky » Fri Sep 14, 2007 5:14 pm

Visited a San Diego landmark the other day: the recently-retired aircraft carrier Midway., aka CV- 41. She's earned her rest and all the attention- what a career!!

Not a very large aircraft collection, but one of the best museum-ship tours out there. Without comment, here's some snaps.

Nothing like using a Great Carrier as a Museum!!  Wish we had one in Philly!!

Great shots, Sean!!

San Diego was the cleanest city I ever visited!!  Is it still that way?
