Will it never end...?

The airplane that deadened pilots' feet worldwide... a Pacer with a nosewheel; the Flying Milkstool: the Piper Tri-Pacer. So wrong, but so right... still a very affordable airplane that is a better four-seat hauler than most Skyhawks, and about as fast. This one looks good in red...


     


But there ain't nothing like the real thing ( a proper high-wing Piper)... not a Pacer, but a PA-16 Clipper... very clean "stock" example.

     



Oshkosh draws beautiful Swifts like moths to a flame, and they in turn draw me. I visited the Swift area every day. Sigh... I really need one of these.

     


     


     


Another Tri-Pacer, just 'cuz it's got a real nice paintjob. Not sure what the deal is with that thing on the gear strut... I think it's Whimsical Folk Art. Or something.

     


Another superb paint... this would be perfet with a plaid interior.
