The Bald Eagle. Bald as in piebald as opposed to a lack of hair on the head, as you can see from these shots there is definitely no baldness on this particular bird, and you'd be a pretty brave individual to accuse it of baldness face to face

Wonderful shots there........ 8-)

I'll have to go to Campbell River one of these days when its nice.......they abound there, maybe due to the area being known as the Salmon Capital of the world.....not that they know it, but there is plenty for them to eat there.......I have a few pics already of Eagles, but none which I would present here just yet........

what about yourem Canadian Friends too...i bet there  is more Bald Eagles in Canada then the U.S......nice shots of a Beautiful bird....loving those talons too!
