EGCC Pt2

By now I was getting a bit bored with the usual spot....and the sun had gone in so I was up for a bit of experimenting ;)
I went to a popular mound at the end of 23L, where you get right next to the aircraft as they line up and begin their TO rolls...

Another AA....this time a 767 (I think ;))

Delving into my extremely limited knowledge of the types Thompson fly, I'd say it's probably a 757.... but don't quote me because I may well be wrong...

Stunning shots one and all, mic; perspective, colour.... the works..... all perfect!! :D

767 it is!  As far as the nosecone goes, it's really one of few parts, if not only, part of the airplane fuselage that is fiberglass.  That's where they hide the weather radar if I'm not mistaken.  It's kinda hard to polish fiberglass.

If ever you are unsure about a 767, there are some subtle differences to help tell it apart from an A300/A310.

The A300/A310 has a sharper nosecone.

The A300/A310 has a differently shaped bridge, more like the bridge on the A319 you have pictured.

The 767's nose gear is mounted much closer to the nose then the A300/A310.

It was tough to find those differences, but hopefully I'll be able to tell these two practical clones apart from one another from now on. :D
