I always tell Pugs "On behalf of humanity, I apologize..." ;D  
But they are cheerful little guys, aren't they? My favorite "toy" breed: a mini-mastiff. ;D

yeah he does have a face only a mother could love. But you are right a very happy dog without any kind of nasty behavior. :)

That's odd... how old is he? Is he overweight? Looks a little chunky...
Other pugs I've known are pretty bouncy... maybe you need to wake him up more often and play with  him, or take him for a walk. Sometimes lazy dogs just need a little encouragement.

He is actually not overweight believe it or not and he is playful in sperts. We walk him and yes we do play with him.  But overall he is very mild mannered and always has been.  :D
